Sian Duursema

Sian Duursema is the daughter of comic artist Jan Duursema.

For Celebration III, she dressed as her mother's character Jeisel. An image of her dressed as Jeisel was posted on the Internet as "Sian Jeisel," leaving many fans incorrectly assuming that was the character's full name.

Presumably because of this, The New Essential Guide to Alien Species eventually did canonically identify Jeisel as "Sian Jeisel."
