Sibisime was a planet in the Mid Rim. The slicer Zakarisz Ghent was living there, in Saraban City in 4 ABY when he was approached by a man who offered him a job if he went to Chibias and gave him a spaceliner ticket. On Chibias, Ghent failed to make his connection with the mysterious man and got caught up in a plot involving stolen government secrets, only to be rescued by Mara Jade. After a few days adventuring with the ex-Hand, Ghent and Jade parted company and the youth finally made his connection with his mysterious employer—Talon Karrde.
