The Sienar Systems augmentor was a device, probably placed in a jet exhaust port, to provide extra thrust. Han Solo and Chewbacca tried to get one on the black market for the Millennium Falcon, but only obtained one after the Falcon was completely refitted before the Black Fleet Crisis.
