Silmis Vey was a male Jedi Master who served the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic as a General in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars.

BiographyEdit

A Force-sensitive male, Silmis Vey received training in the ways of the Force by the Jedi Order, achieving the rank of Jedi Master before the time of the Separatist Crisis. During this time, Vey selected the young Twi'lek Initiate, Mariineh, as his Padawan.^[1]

When the Clone Wars erupted between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Vey took up the rank of General in the Grand Army of the Republic. While Mariineh had nearly completed her training and was ready to take her Trials of Knighthood, the girl volunteered to accompany her master to the planet Argul to participate in the Republic offensive there. Proud of her choice and the responsibility it demonstrated, Vey and his student participated from orbit, overseeing the evacuation of transports from Argul to a rendezvous point near Belsavis.^[1]
