A Sith Familiar was a type of Sithspawn. It resembled a small scavenger bird with a wingspan of about 1.5 meters. They could be created through Sith Alchemy from the information recorded in Sith holocrons and Sith scrolls. Familiars had connections through the Force to their masters, so that a master could feel anything that a familiar felt and could use some Force skills as if they were in the familiar's location.
