A Sith O' Lantern was a type of carved food that could be purchased from Z'ozpheratu during the Galactic Moon Festival. The participating city's of Mos Eisley and Moenia decorated their streets with a wide variety of these Sith O' Lanterns. The interiors of these Sith O' Lanterns were illuminated, possibly with the use of candles, to make the carved image appear to glow. Many Sith O' Lanterns were carved to depict a scary face, cat, aurebesh text, or other images.

During the festival of Halloween, revelers would carve pumpkins in a strikingly similar fashion to that of Sith O' Lanterns. However, it is not clear if Sith O' Lanterns were also pumpkins.
