The Mark I Sith war droid moved on four legs, and was armed with arm–mounted dual blaster cannons. They bore a strong resemblance to the droidekas employed thousands of years later by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.

Darth Malgus deployed these droids alongside Sith Warriors to battle Republic forces during the Battle of Alderaan and later during the Sacking of Coruscant.
