The Sith Warblade was a double-edged, single-handed, serrated sword weaved with a cortosis sheathing.

It was primarily used by the Sith before the vibroblade was produced, which later replaced the Sith Warblade as a more suitable weapon. Its ability to resist lightsabers (having cortosis properties) was what made it a favorite of the Sith military.

At the time of the Cold War, an unidentified Sith warrior was sent on a mission to retrieve and use an ancient Sith Warblade located in the tomb of Ajunta Pall.
