The Oppressor Battle Cruiser was a model of starship that served the Sith Empire during the Great Galactic War 3,653 BBY.

Characteristics

These warships had darkened, bulky, square-shaped hulls with sharp outlines and large, red-tinted frontal viewports. A docking bay was located on the ventral side of each ship, along with a landing ramp underneath the front section. They were armed with turbolasers. The propulsion system consisted of five engine pods.
HistoryEdit
They were developed by the Sith Empire prior to its invasion of the Galactic Republic during the Great War. In the devastating attacks, the ships acquitted themselves well, devastating many worlds, most notably the Republic capital world during the Sacking of Coruscant.
Lord Angral made use of an Oppressor class battle cruiser to journey to Dantooine. When he later received information that showed Lord Baras responsible for sabotaging the peace treaty with the Republic, he ordered his ship to be turned around and head for Korriban.
