In about 21 BBY, a skirmish took place in the Cularin system, aboard the starship Animiasma.

The skirmishEdit

During the Clone Wars, the Chevin slaver Phylus Mon traveled to the Cularin system aboard his starship, the Animiasma, and raided a Sith fortress on the planet Almas, intent on learning the secrets of the creation of Sith battlelords. During his raid, Mon used the Darkstaff, a powerful Sith artifact that he sought to repair, to rip the Force essences from a number of his slaves and transfer them into a crystal pyramid. He then returned to the Animiasma with the pyramid and the Jedi Order subsequently dispatched the Jedi Knight Oden Malksch and a team of freelance agents to board the vessel and free the Force essences that were trapped within the crystal.

Malksch and the agents landed on the Animiasma and made their way through the ship, and they confronted Mon inside his throne room. Mon's bodyguards, the Anzat Mischa Vorfen and the Blood Carver Ke Len, as well as a number of his other slaves, came to his aide and attacked the agents. However, the agents eventually defeated Mon and his minions, and they released the Force essences from the pyramid.
