The Skirmish at Coruscant was a small battle, which purpose was to capture Padmé Amidala, the queen of Naboo,^[1] and assassinate the two Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn, and their new friend Anakin Skywalker.^[2] The group of mercenaries, led by Sun Guard, tried to kidnap the queen,^[1] while the other half of the group attacked against the Jedi.^[2] Although the mercenaries managed to capture the queen, he was soon released by captain Panaka,^[1] and the Jedi attacked mercenaries were all killed by Kenobi, Jinn, and Mace Windu.^[2] Their leader was killed in duel between him and Panaka, which leaded to the failure of the plot.^[1]
