A skirmish occurred on the Hallowe'en of 3 ABY^[1] between Chief Chirpa, the leader of the Ewoks of Bright Tree Village,^[2] and a band of Duloks. The Duloks had inadvertently kidnapped the Ewok ruler while raiding the Ewoks' storehouse while the Ewoks were preoccupied with their Hallowe'en festivities. Although Chirpa was bound to a tree with ropes, the Ewoks Wicket W. Warrick, Teebo, and Kneesaa found him in the forest, cut him free, and allowed him to fight off the Dulok band.^[3]
