The Battles of Yavin 4 were a group of minor battles, mostly skirmishes, that occurred on the moon Yavin 4 within the six months after the Battle of Yavin (0 ABY). Several of the battles were attempts to drive out the Rebels who were holed up in their base in the Massassi Temple. Darth Vader participated in a number of the battles including the final one, in which he lead his forces to victory. Some battles were orchestrated by Baron Tagge such as attacks from the hidden base on Yavin Prime and the Omega Frost scheme. Another battle was an attempt by Tyber Zann to steal some data pods that survived the Death Star's destruction.
