Skirtopanol was a truth serum for interrogating prisoners. Its effects were not just loosening up a subject, but causing greater sensitivity to make torture more effective. Progressively higher doses were used with torture during narco-interrogation. Skirtopanol could be lethally counteracted by lotiramine.
