Skye, also known as Marat V, was a planet in the Outer Rim Territories.

HistoryEdit

It was once saved during the Clone Wars by Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Halagad Ventor. Its people remained indebted to them.

Under the New Order, Darth Vader set up an Imperial puppet government on Skye, headed by the Force-sensitive Majestrix of Skye, Kharys. During this period, the planet was restricted, and anyone who set foot on it without a permit from Kharys was put on trial. When a group of two-dozen Corellian smugglers landed on Skye without Kharys' consent, she executed them, all but Han Solo and Katya M'Buele who escaped the planet.

In 0 ABY, Kharys was defeated in lightsaber combat by Luke Skywalker, and the Empire lost its power over the planet.
