Skywalker.dk is currently the most active Danish Star Wars messageboard with more postings per day that even the Danish section of TheForce.net's FanForce. It was originally a part of the webpage of the now defunct Star Wars Fanklub Danmark, but continued as an independent project when Star Wars Fanklub Denmark ceased to exist. The administrators of the messageboard are currently planning to revive the fan club.

The messageboard is dedicated to discussing virtually every aspect of the world of Star Wars, involving both in-universe topics, such as characters, locations, events etc. from movies and the Expanded Universe, and real-world topics such as the making of the films, Expanded Universe material, computer games, merchandise, Star Wars cosplaying, vintage action figure collecting, and Star Wars music soundtracks. The messageboard forum consists of several subfora each relating to its own Star Wars related topic. There is also a section dedicated to Star Wars fan fiction. It is also possible for users to trade Star Wars related items via a subsection especially dedicated to this, such as costumes, action figures, cardbacks, posters, computer games and so on and so forth, as long as the Danish laws regarding trade are not violated.

One of the most popular features on Skywalker.dk is the play-by-post roleplay, which was introduced in the summer 2006.

Unlike other Danish Star Wars fora, Skywalker.dk arranges several events in which users from all over the country meet in real life to engage in miscellaneous Star Wars fandom related events.

In the late spring of 2007, a small group of these fans, like thousands of other fans around the world, travelled to America and joined in on the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Star Wars, they showed up for the Celebration 4 convention. The girls of this group, were interviewed for American TV as well, on the opening day, while the guys just stayed in the background. It's possible you could have seen them there or at the Master Replicas party at the Jim Henson's studios, who knows.

The forum is primarily in Danish and is administrated by a team of administrators and moderators. In line with the general spirit of such fora, the administrating team as well as the users use Star Wars related nicks rather than their real world names. The users are known as "Skywalkers" in the Danish fan milieu.

The messageboard also has an English section for international users.
