Smashball was a violent spectator sport that had a large interplanetary fandom in the years prior to the Clone Wars, at least in the Outer Rim Territories. Smashball was also popular during and/or after the Galactic Civil War.
Raal Yorta claimed to have won several smashball trophies in his past.
