Smuggled holdout blasters were a type of holdout blaster pistol used by smugglers during the Cold War. The smuggler Ace used a gun of this make when they delivered a shipment of guns to Drelliad Village on the planet Ord Mantell for Rendia freight.

Smuggled holdout blasters first appeared as weapon in the Massively multiplayer online roleplaying game Star Wars: The Old Republic published by BioWare in 2011. Players of the Smuggler class, the only class able to use the blaster, began the game equipped with it making it one of the weakest pieces of equipment in the game. Apart from starting with the weapon or trading it from another player in the game there is no other way to obtain the Smuggled holdout blaster currently making it impossible for Imperial players to posses.
