The Solidarity was a recent addition to the Alliance Fleet in 1 BBY, in the prelude to the Battle of Kamino. A Mon Calamari Cruiser commanded by Commodore Yat-De Viedas, he was so impressed with it he told the Alliance leadership that he would not hear a word against it. It was the location of a meeting between Mon Mothma, Princess Leia Organa, Garm Bel Iblis and Captain Juno Eclipse following the failed skirmish at Cato Neimoidia. The ship later went on to fight in the Battle near the Itani Nebula and then later the Battle of Kamino, which led to the capture of Darth Vader.
