Somatoll was a drug that could be used to tranquilize a large number of species. Ramoans were known to have a fatal reaction to the drug.

In 43 ABY, Captain Han Solo and Jedi Knight Leia Organa Solo used darts laced with somatoll to subdue Jedi Knights Yaqeel Saav'etu and Bazel Warv when they succumbed to the same madness afflicting the other Jedi.
