Sora Mobari was a female Human Jedi Master who served the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic as a General in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars.

BiographyEdit

A Force-sensitive Human, Sora Mobari was educated in the ways of the Force by the Jedi Order, eventually attaining the rank of Jedi Master. Selecting the Initiate Evan-Ott as her Padawan, the pair answered the call of the Jedi High Council at the start of the Clone Wars, joining the Grand Army of the Republic against the forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Taking up the rank of General, Master Mobari was dispatched to lead clone troopers on many fronts.^[2]

During the first year of War, Master Mobari and Padawan Evan Ott were dispatched to take down an Ithorian terror ring which supported the Separatist Droid Army. During the mission, Mobari's Padawan betrayed her, resulting in his death and leaving Mobari critically wounded.^[2] Left blind and critically injured, Mobari was rescued and transported to a medcenter on New Holstice where Kaminoan medics and Jedi healers tended to the wounded. While she was kept comfortable, Master Mobari was mortally wounded and the healers believed that she would not be able to recover. Master A'Sharad Hett, one of the Jedi stationed at the facility, asked Jedi Anakin Skywalker to sit with the wounded woman and easy her pain.^[1]

Skywalker, unable to cope with so much death and pain, attempted to stabilize her heart beat with the Force, massaging it with a similar technique he had used to attack General Orliss Gillmunn on Jabiim. While other healers objected, Skywalker attempted to save her, causing her to convulse violently before becoming one with the Force.^[1]
