The Sossen-7 sublight engine was a powerful model of sublight engine that was utilized in Senator Padmé Amidala's personal J-type star skiff during the Clone Wars of 22 BBY. The engines were one facet of the transport that indicated the craft's combat-readiness, and she went on to utilize Sossens in her ship until the end of the war, three years later.[1]
