Tracking his kidnapper to Nar Shaddaa, the Rebels help out the infochant Rat who is able to direct them to Pamorjal. On Pamorjal, they explore the Temples of Vormijj and discover a star map that directs them to an little known world in the Outer Rim. However, before they can leave the planet, they are attacked by members of the Pamorjal Freeman's League who have been tricked into thinking they are agents of TaggeCo. Defeating the PFL, the Rebels continue on to the Outer Rim world, where they discover a cavern containing the Soulsaber. In the cavern is Caeleb, with his kidnapper Thaum Rystra. Rystra needs Caeleb to retrieve the Soulsaber from its protective shell created by the light side of the Force. He distracts the Rebels long enough to retrieve the Soulsaber and then flees, leaving the Rebels with Caeleb, whom they return to the Alliance.
