Lieutenant Commander Bakki Sourthol was a Rebel Alliance pilot and special operations officer. He joined the Alliance after his fathers political beliefs prevented him from entering the Academy.
An experienced pilot, he commanded an X-Wing Squadron in the Bakchou Arm of Fakir Sector as a member of Reekeene's Roughnecks. His callsign was Red Leader.
During his service, Sourthol identified Ho'Din saboteur Yansan trying to disable Rebel transports with him and other Rebels on board. Yansan was stopped, but he managed to escape. Sourthol noticed that Yansan had a limp, preferring the left leg.
On 2 ABY, due to some events on Tharin, Sourthol obtained important information about other threats to the Rebel Alliance. Due to this, he was temporarily relieved from his duties on Fakir so he could report to The Task Force on Alliance Security. Sourthol wrote about Yansal and other threats.
He was a friendly, cheerful and fearless man and a mean Sabacc player.
