Spang's Repair Shop was located on Tanquilla Beach, near the bottom of the installation. Run by Spang, it occupied the largest repair space on the station. Spang's work was legendary, and the repair shop usually had a long list of ships waiting to be worked on. Spang's also had a portable drydock available to it to work on capital ships in parking orbit. Spang's granddaughter, Fia, also worked in the shop.

The crew of the FarStar engaged the services of Fia, and the resources of the repair shop, to fix the damage to their hyperdrive suffered at Shintel.
