Spare Parts is a 4-page comic that first appeared in Star Wars Tales 4. The story was written by Mark Evanier and Sergio Aragonés, art also by Sergio Aragonés, letters by Stan Sakai, colors by Tom Luth and the editor was Scott Allie.
[edit] Plot summary
On Tatooine, C-3PO and R2-D2 are spotted and captured by Jawas. Seeing that the Jawas are disassembling other droids for spare parts, Threepio knocks two Jawas unconscious and steals their cloaks. However their escape is unsuccessful as the Jawas easily see through the droid’s disguises.
