Special Ops: The Art of Infiltration was a short story originally slated to be printed in Star Wars Adventure Journal 17, written by John Beyer and Kathy Burdette.

In the story, an Alliance Intelligence team (including Morgan Q. Raventhorn, Maglenna Pendower, and Dren Nord) fight against Imperial Security Bureau Captain Mylesgood. The group complete their objective and destroy a skiff full of Imperial troops.

Despite rumors, Special Ops: The Art of Infiltration was never published in Star Wars Gamer 9, though it has been mistaken for the unrelated Topside Infiltration published in Star Wars Gamer 8.
