Pyrokinesis was a Force power that allowed a Force-user to manipulate and create fire. Jedi Master Knol Ven'nari possessed this ability (as did Yarael Poof).
The Nightsisters of Dathomir referred to this ability as the "Spell of Flame", and would sometimes use it against an enemy, such as they did to Luke Skywalker and his allies in 43 ABY
In the annotated version of Jedi Path, there is an annotation from Anakin Skywalker saying that he heard of masters being able to summon a pillar of fire.
In 52 BBY, Palpatine used the ability to kill Pax Teem.
Additionally, Darth Vader had a disturbing "dream" of him and his son thinking Palpatine dead and themselves rulers of The galaxy, when in reality, Palpatine was alive, and created a ring of fire around Vader, cutting him off from Luke and presumably killing him. When Vader awoke, he speculated Palpatine may have implanted this vision in his head, to warn him about the consequences of betraying him. Suffice it to say, this is probably an example of what Palpatine could do to Vader if he wanted to.
