Stam Reath was Padawan to Echuu Shen-Jon prior to the Clone Wars, and was part of Mace Windu's Jedi task force that was sent to rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Padmé Amidala.

An impetuous youth, Stam was killed by CIS General Sev'rance Tann, as he attempted to pursue Count Dooku during the Battle of Geonosis. His death marked the beginning of Echuu's descent to the dark side of the Force.
The Jedi Council attempted to ease Echuu's sorrow by assigning the late Stam's sister, Naat Reath, to him as a new Padawan. Mace Windu would later lament the poor decision.
