Stam Reath was a human male Padawan prior to the Clone Wars. He was the brother of Naat Reath, who was also in the Jedi Order, and the first apprentice of Echuu Shen-Jon.

BiographyEdit

Stam and his master, Echuu-Shen Jon were part of Mace Windu's Jedi task force that was sent to rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Senator Padmé Amidala. Moments before the Battle of Geonosis began, both they and several other Jedi including Council members Plo Koon, Ki-Adi-Mundi and several other unnamed Jedi were given orders to destroy several Trade Federation Battleship Cores. They succeeded and were then given orders to prevent Count Dooku from escaping to a hangar. When the Jedi reached the area, they encountered Sev'rance Tann, who engaged Stam in a duel and killed him, deeply upsetting Echuu and beginning his descent to the dark side of the Force.

The Jedi Council attempted to ease Echuu's sorrow by assigning the late Stam's sister, Naat, to him as a new Padawan. Mace Windu would later lament the poor decision.
