The Star Forge Robes were special Jedi robes that were made in an ancient massive automated Rakata shipyard, the Star Forge. These robes were long, colored sand-brown, and only its chestplate broke the ascetic simplicity. Nonetheless, it gave a Force-sensitive wearer increased wisdom and willpower. Despite the fact that the Star Forge was a powerful tool of the dark side of the Force, only one immersed in the light side was able to wear the robes.[1] In 3,956 BBY,[2] during the final battle of the Jedi Civil War,[3] when Jedi Revan defeated Sith Lord Darth Malak, the Star Forge was destroyed, setting an end to the production of the robes.[1]
Behind the scenes
Edit
The Star Forge Robe first appeared in BioWare's RPG video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, released in July 2003. Star Forge Robes can be created at one of the computer rooms on the Star Forge for a large number of computer spikes. In the non-canonical dark side storyline of the game, these robes cannot be created. Instead, a different set of robes would be created, mimicking but not matching Revan's original Sith robes.[1]
