Star Tours II is the working title given to what will be the re-imagined and updated amusement park ride based on the Star Wars saga.

Updated and improved

It was confirmed at D23, the Disney-version of Comic-Con, that there will not be a second ride introduced, but rather, the existing ride will be updated and improved. The original ride will be closing as of October 2010 to allow for the update and renovations to the ride, which will re-open sometime in 2011. However, despite the original ride closing down, it is unclear whether or not RX-24 or any other droids will return for the updated attraction

The new ride will be in 3-D and at least part of the ride will have the Starspeeder 3000, bursting into the Boonta Eve Classic pod race.
