Star Wars: Droids Special is a special issue of Star Wars Droids: The Kalarba Adventures, a Dark Horse comic book series starring R2-D2 and C-3PO which was published on January 31, 1995 by Dark Horse Comics.

Publisher's summaryEdit

In their first adventure in the Kalarba system, Artoo-Detoo and See-Threepio arrive at Hosk Station, where they meet the intergalactic criminal, Olag Greck! Originally serialized in Dark Horse Comics, this tale led into the events of the highly popular six-issue Droids series, and is collected here for the first time. The Droids Special features previously unpublished preliminary illustrations by Bill Hughes, and a new cover by Kilian Plunkett. Fans should also note that this is the story that marks an appearance by bounty hunter droid IG-88, and introduces Olag Greck, Xob, and the Corellian pilot, Jace Forno, to the Star Wars universe!
