Star Wars: Episode I Adventures is a book released by Dark Horse Comics. It is a hardback re-release of the Phantom Menace Adventures trade paperback. The book follows the seperate adventures of Anakin Skywalker, Padme Amidala and Jar Jar Binks, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi throughout the course of Episode I, with behind the scenes adventures not seen in the movie.

DescriptionEdit

• We see what Anakin is doing right before the J-type 327 Nubian royal starship arrives in an adventure to find parts for Watto, which he inexplicably keeps finding. He also dreams of being a Jedi right before Watto calls him inside to meet the "outlanders."

• Padme and Jar Jar must retrieve an important component of Anakin's pod from a group of sentient small flying bug-like creatures, who need it to power their water pump, while evading two Gamorrean thugs.

• Qui-Gon's business with Watto and dealing with the thugs Watto hires to persuade Jinn to leave Anakin on Tatooine.

We also see Qui-Gon break up Anakin's fight with Greedo, and a further lesson of tolerance and when to act for what's right.

• Obi-wan retells his entire adventure from start to finish to Master Yoda in a chamber in Theed, with Yoda chiming in his approval and opinions throughout.

Behind the ScenesEdit

• When measuring Anakin's Midi-chlorian count, Obi-Wan incorrectly states it being over 10,000, instead of over 20,000.
