Legacy 27: Into the Core is the twenty-seventh issue of the Star Wars: Legacy comic series.

Publisher's summary[]

Darth Wyyrlok is the master of Sith lore and magic in Darth Krayt's Sith order. He has also been Krayt's confidant, spokesman, and friend. Now, seeing the further deterioration of his Master from the ravages of the Yuuzhan Vong bioforms, Wyyrlok attempts a dangerous journey into the Deep Core worlds to the birthplace of Lord Andeddu, an ancient Sith Lord, seeking to discover any secrets that might save Darth Krayt. Penetrating the Deep Core, however, is always hazardous and Wyyrlok must call upon his own core—his strength, skills, and beliefs—to simply survive.

Behind the scenes[]

Darth Wyyrlok's ancient books of Sith lore include the Aurebesh titles "SICK LIFE" (with "LAU" written on top of the spine, and "ETKA CHU" written underneath the title; and an unreadable 6 character word or words appears at the bottom of the spine), "DARTH-NEMO-DAK" (the author's name appears on the bottom of the spine, but is unreadable), "LIFE" (the rest of the words are unreadable), "FROM THE DARKEST HEART", "JAURE TCHE" (with Aurek (A) on top of the spine, and the author's name unreadable), "MIMI-IKA - RUKI[obscured]RRI," "FROM THE DARKEST WAY OF THE FORCE" by "COQUI TANAR" - "LO[obscured]FORMITIES" (presumably, the latter is supposed to be "DEFORMITIES", which is fitting, given that Wyyrlok is looking for an answer to Darth Krayt's affliction) and (upside-down) "KOMO'ROMPO' ".
