Behind the scenes[]
In this issue, Anakin receives slash wounds from Asajj Ventress as she toys with him in a lightsaber duel. These are the same scars Anakin wears beside his right eye and left cheek in Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. With the release of the 2008 Star Wars: The Clone Wars film, however, Anakin is depicted with these scars two years prior, in 22 BBY.
When Quinlan Vos sends the message droid to Khaleen Hentz, Aurebesh symbols appear on various signs.
