Written by Curtis Saxton and illustrated by Hans Jenssen and Richard Chasemore, the book provides in-depth cross-sections and illustrations of over a dozen starships and vehicles from the film Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. The book's content was later republished in 2007 as part of Star Wars: Complete Cross-Sections, a compilation of the entire Cross-Sections series.
