Publisher's summaryEdit

"The Separatists unleash a terrifying new weapon on Republic-held systems! An enormous starship, the Starcrusher, is destroying every ship sent against it.

Yoda agrees to a risky plan to stop the Starcrusher, and assembles a Jedi strike force that includes Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, and Ki-Adi-Mundi.

Too late, the Jedi realize that the Starcrusher mission has become a trap—one specifically designed to kill Jedi!

Inspired by the film and television programs The Clone Wars, the fun and excitement never stop with these additional Jedi adventures.

Featuring Mace Windu in action! And introducing Jedi Knight Jyl Somtay!

The Fillbach Brothers return to The Clone Wars!"

Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi are sent on a mission to destroy a separatist weapons factory. They successfully destroy the shield generator, but become concerned when the task force doesn't attack as planned. They are then picked up by Master Jyl Somtay and discover the problem; the separatist ship the Starcrusher has destroyed the fleet. The Jedi Council is then consulted to divise the best course of action and it is decided that Obi-wan,Ahsoka, Mace Windu, Ki-Adi, and Somtay will lead an attack to destroy the star crusher, while Anakin goes on a mission for the Supreme Chancellor. However, the Starcrusher (decoy) the jedi board is a trap set by Sidious to kill the jedi, as the ship has been programmed to fly straight into the systems sun with the Jedi on board. Somtay, for a brief period, doubts the Jedi's ability to escape. Mace reminds her that they are Jedi, and that they WILL escape, although he admits he has no idea how. Anakin defies the chancellor's orders and tries to help them esape. As soon as he arrives, the real Starcrusher comes out of hyperspace. Anakin then manages to knock out all power in the real Starcrusher, while Obi-wan magnetises the ships hull, which then pulls both ships into the sun. The jedi escape just in time using space suits found on the ship. Once back on Coruscant, Somtay apologizes for her lack of faith during the mission. Mace reminds her that fear is an emotion, and to " Be mindful of your feelings, but don't let them control your actions."
