Star Wars: Trials on Tatooine is a cinematic virtual-reality experiment set in the Star Wars universe. Created by ILMxLAB and released on July 18, 2016, the game was developed under the guidance of Rob Bredow, chief technology officer at Lucasfilm Ltd., and co-written by Bredow and Pablo Hidalgo, Star Wars canon keeper.
It takes place after Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, with the player taking the role of an aspiring Padawan hoping to join Luke Skywalker in his effort to rebuild the Jedi Order.[1]

Continuity[]
Despite not having any obvious non-canonical elements, ILMxLAB's Vader Immortal Experience Guide does not list this as being considered Canon, saying that Droid Repair Bay, Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire, and Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series – Episode I are the only ILMxLAB experiences released at the time considered Canon by Lucasfilm.[2]
