Family Ties was the seventh story-arc in the Star Wars: X-Wing Rogue Squadron comics, and the second of the "Rise of Isard" arc. It ran from January 7 to February 4, 1998.

Plot summaryEdit

After a New Republic victory at the Battle of Brentaal IV, defector Soontir Fel has joined Rogue Squadron. In return, the Rogues must return to Fel's home planet of Corellia to find his wife. When the pilots reach the planet, they find that Syal Antilles Fel has fled. The remaining members of the Fel family approach the pilots to save another of their own. A young baby has been captured by a local crime boss in revenge for past wrongs. The Rogues must join forces with CorSec operatives Corran Horn and Iella Wessiri. After rescuing the young boy, the Fels flee the planet with the Rogues. Horn escorts them out of the system, beating back a force of pirates.
