Plot summary[]

Book VI, Part I
YODA'S SECRET WAR
It is a time of renewed hope for the Rebel Alliance.
but the Galactic Empire continues to hold its
domination and has doubled its efforts to
eliminate any who would stand against its rule.

The Alliance's heroes, pilot Luke Skywalker,
Princess Leia, and smuggler-turned-soldier Han
Solo, have just succeeded in stealing a massive
Star Destroyer to deliver supplies to an ally planet.

However, their success does not come without cost –
Darth Vader enlists a group of ultra-dangerous
stormtroopers, Scar Squadron, to destroy the
rebels. Even though Luke, Leia, and Han escape
victorious, the stormtroopers, humiliated in their
defeat, vow retribution. In order to force another
battle, Scar Squadron turns its focus on its new
prisoner: C-3PO....

A Droid Under Interrogation[]

Aboard the Devastator, C-3PO is being interrogated, but the troopers of Scar Squadron find his constant barrage of information pointless and annoying. Worst of all? None of it reveals the location of the Rebel Fleet or their potential new base. Sergeant Kreel suggests scouring through C-3PO's memory banks, but Darth Vader orders him and his squadron to scrap the droid for parts, threatening a similar future for them if they continue to fail him. But before they embark on that, the other troops convince Kreel to send a message to the Rebellion that their "beloved" droid is in their hands, hoping to lure them into a trap. C-3PO assures the squadron that his friends would leap at the chance to rescue him.

A Resounding No From All But One[]

Back aboard the Rebel Fleet, Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo, and Chewbacca all agree that a rescue attempt would be suicidal, especially with the recent theft of a Star Destroyer.
