[edit] Plot

Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Han Solo are on a diplomatic mission to Saijo when they see an X-wing fleeing from three Y-wings. Han decides to side with the outnumbered X-wing even though Skywalker points out that both ships are used by the Rebellion. Flying in the Millennium Falcon, Organa and Skywalker use the Falcon's guns to shoot down the Y-wings, rescuing the pilot. After a short stay in the hospital, the Rebel heroes get to know Minka, the Cantrosian pilot, and the story behind the chase. Minka says that the Y-wings were working for the Empire, and that her base in the Cantros system has been under continuous assault. The Rebels decide to investigate the claims, and return with Minka back to Cantros 7. After arriving, they are puzzled about the claims of the Empire in the system, but decide to go investigate who has been attacking, flying to the other side of the planet with Minka and her friend Sami. After arriving on the other side of the planet, Luke Han and Sami are captured by other Cantrosians, while Leia and Minka are able to avoid capture. The three rebels are brought back to the Cantrosians' base where they learn that their captors are also working for the Rebellion. However, before the Rebels can explain the situation, they witness Durne, a member of Sami and Minka's group, tell the Cantrosian captors to torture Han, Luke, and Sami. It seems that Durne had been playing both sides against each other to get the two group to wipe each other out. Luckily for the three captive Rebels, Leia and Minka show up to save the day, freeing the group before they can be tortured. In a brief shoot-out, Luke is able to save Niru, the leader of the other group of Cantrosians. This confirms to the other group that they are not working for the Empire, and they take Durne prisoner. The two groups finally reconcile, thanks to Luke, Leia, and Han.
