This series was based on the Star Wars: Droids animated TV series, but the stories are original and not adaptations of the show. This particular storyarc, however, was a semi-adaptation of the events of A New Hope, with additional backstory added through the eyes of C-3PO & R2-D2.
Published under the Marvel Comics, Star Comics imprint, this is the final issue of the series, with a cover price of $1.00 U.S. and $1.25 Canadian.
