The junior novelization of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith was written by Patricia C. Wrede and published by Scholastic in April 2005. It is based on the story and screenplay by George Lucas and contains sixteen pages of full-color photos from the motion picture.
This novelization differs from the movie in several ways. Like the Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith video game, it cuts out the part where Mace Windu duels Palpatine, instead it just has having Anakin arrive as Windu is pointing his blade at Palpatine. It also does not show the Jedi being killed, instead Palpatine just feels their death in the Force. It also specifies why Sidious stopped using his lightsaber whilst fighting Yoda, stating that Yoda disarmed him.
This novelization is more or less a junior version of Matthew Stover's Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (novel).
