The junior novelization of Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back was written by Ryder Windham and published by Scholastic in October 2004. It is based on the story by George Lucas and the screenplay by Leigh Brackett and Lawrence Kasdan. It contains sixteen pages of full-color photos from the motion picture.
