The junior novelization of Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi was written by Ryder Windham and published by Scholastic in October 2004. It is based on the story by George Lucas and the screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and George Lucas. It contains sixteen pages of full-color photos from the motion picture.
