[edit] Plot summary
With the Taris Orbital Patrols on their tail, the barely space worthy Last Resort makes its way into an asteroid field. With power restored and transmissions restored, Zayne Carrick makes a transmission to the Enclave on Dantooine, hoping to convince Jedi Master, Vandar Tokare, that he is innocent of killing his fellow Padawans. However, Vandar finds this hard to believe but does believe that Zayne does think that he didn't do it and suggests that Zayne simply doesn't remember. With the transmission cut short by Jarael due to being brought out of the asteroid field, Zayne remembers something odd about the Jedi Council on Taris. All but one were Consulars.
Zayne decides that something must have happened on the Rogue Moon a couple of days earlier and goes out with Jarael to find answers. On the surface, they discover the remains of the Jedi's bulk-lifter droid, T1-LB, or simply Elbee. But at that moment, Lucien and the Taris authorities descend to apprehend Zayne Carrick.
