Star Wars Technical Commentaries, or SWTC, are a set of detailed documents exploring the nature and limits of the of the Star Wars universe. They are maintained by Curtis Saxton, Ph.D. (Astrophysics) and located at TheForce.Net. His work is solely interested in establishing the limits and characteristics of Star Wars technology. Some topics brought up are the Endor Holocaust, firepower of the Death Stars, actual sizes and different models of Super Star Destroyers and many other things.

Many members of TheForce.Net's message board dislike SWTC. His methodical and empirical methodology is reportedly disfavored by some at Lucasfilm (notably Pablo Hidalgo^[1]) who would prefer a less scientific view of the Star Wars franchise.
