In Service of the Republic is the second story arc of an ongoing comic series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The story was written by Henry Gilroy, the head writer for the first season of the show, and Steven Melching, who wrote several episodes of the television series. The first issue was released on July 15, 2009.
