The Starhunter was a further evolution of the TIE/In interceptor starfighter that saw use with the navy of the Imperial Remnant during the latter stages of the Second Galactic Civil War. Boasting more firepower, with heavy weapons in addition to laser cannons, the Starhunter also carried a deflector shield generator. It was operated by a single pilot.

HistoryEdit

Starhunters first saw widespread use during the closing weeks of the war, particularly during the Second Battle of Roche and the Battle of Shedu Maad.

Behind the scenesEdit

The naming convention for the Starhunter is unclear; the novel Invincible refers to it as simply "Starhunter"; however, it does state quite clearly that it is an evolution of the TIE Interceptor.
