The Starlight Festival was a roughly 30 day holiday on the gas giant of Tyed Kant. As the planet passed through the Kantel system's debris belts protective shields were raised, no crops were grown, and the spaceports were closed except to emergency traffic. The citizens of Tyed Kant spent these days feasting, shopping, drinking, and enjoying the spectacle of constant meteor showers and atmospheric fires.[1]
